Developed and rigorously tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers feature remote reservoirs and can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide a comfortable ride in the city while offering exceptional chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is fully adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes to the vehicle's ride and custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The bodies, reservoirs, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized coating to ensure superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Not only are they fully designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, but all BP-51 shock absorbers are also manufactured in-house at ARB. This allows for total control over the manufacturing process, supported by significant investments in state-of-the-art machinery to guarantee the highest quality.
