Developed and rigorously tested in the harsh Australian environment, these big-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are easily installed without vehicle modifications, providing both a comfortable ride in the city and powerful end-zone damping for exceptional chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is fully adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in vehicle performance and custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The bodies, reservoirs, and components are all manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a 40-micron Type 3 hard-anodized coating for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone chips. Not only are all BP-51 shock absorbers designed, developed, and tested in-house by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, but they are also manufactured at ARB’s own production facilities.
