Developed and rigorously tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are bolt-on compatible without the need for vehicle modifications. They combine a comfortable ride on city streets with significant end-zone damping for exceptional vehicle control and handling off-road. Damping performance is easily adjustable across a wide range of rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in ride feel and custom tuning to suit conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all made of 6061 T6 aluminum with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized finish for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Fully designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB.
