Developed and extensively tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide a comfortable ride for city driving while offering superior end-zone damping for excellent chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is easily adjustable via a wide range of rebound and compression settings, allowing for custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups by significantly changing the ride feel. The body, reservoir, and all components are crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized coating to ensure superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Not only are they designed, developed, and tested by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, but all BP-51 shock absorbers are also manufactured in-house by ARB.
