Extensively tested in Australia's harsh environments, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are bolt-on compatible with no vehicle modifications required. They combine a comfortable ride on city streets with high end-zone damping for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is easily adjustable across a wide range of rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in ride characteristics and custom tuning to suit conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum, with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized finish for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested entirely by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, every BP-51 shock absorber is manufactured in-house at ARB.
