The BASE Rack makes loading accessories and cargo easier, faster, and more customizable. Providing sturdy and versatile mounting points, the BASE Rack Narrow Side Mount is suitable for installing small items such as work lights, communication equipment, and solar panels, with a capacity of up to 6.6 lbs (approx. 3 kg) per bracket. Each kit includes two powder-coated steel brackets that attach horizontally to the dovetail anywhere along the BASE Rack. The BASE Rack features a dovetail extrusion along the entire outer edge and each edge of the internal beams, providing infinite mounting options and attachment methods. Adding, removing, or repositioning accessories and roof cargo is quick and easy with the BASE Rack's dovetail system, allowing for the attachment and removal of individual items without affecting the entire load. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack's dovetail extrusion does not accumulate dust or debris.
