Building on the proven mounting method of ARB’s classic-style roof racks, a BASE Rack mount kit has been developed specifically for the Toyota FJ Cruiser. Designed exclusively for the 84x51 inch (approx. 213.4 x 129.5 cm) BASE Rack (part number 1770040), the kit features dedicated blade brackets. The BASE Rack utilizes a dovetail extrusion along both the entire perimeter and every edge of the internal beams, offering infinite mounting and attachment options. The BASE Rack’s dovetail system allows for quick and easy adding, removing, and repositioning of accessories and cargo, enabling individual items to be attached or detached without moving the entire load. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack's dovetail extrusion does not accumulate dust or debris. Various BASE Rack accessories and equipment can be attached to the rack using simple clamp mounts, accommodating large hardware such as Hi-Lift(TM) jack mounts, rollers, recovery boards, and even light bars specifically designed for the BASE Rack.
