Based on the proven internal frame of ARB’s classic style roof rack, a BASE rack mount kit has been developed specifically for the Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited equipped with a factory hardtop. The internal brackets have been carried over from the previous kit, and new blade brackets have been developed exclusively for the 61 x 51 PN 1770020 BASE rack. The BASE rack takes accessories and loading to a new level of ease, speed, and personalization. With a wide range of sizes, accessories, and mounting options, you can truly customize it to your own specifications. It features a dovetail extrusion around the entire perimeter and across each side of the internal frame, providing endless mounting and attachment options. The dovetail system allows for quick and easy addition, removal, and repositioning of accessories and cargo, enabling individual items to be attached or detached without disturbing the entire load. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE rack’s dovetail extrusion does not collect dust or debris. Each BASE rack accessory and mount is secured to the rack with a simple clamp mount, supporting everything from large hardware such as Hi-Lift(TM) jack mounts, rollers, and recovery boards to the BASE rack custom light bar.
