A self-standing retractable awning that fits neatly onto most vehicles, it attaches to the side of most roof racks or roof bars and is conveniently stored for immediate use upon arrival. Specifically designed for harsh outback conditions, it features height-adjustable telescopic legs, hook-and-loop ties to secure the roof, and thick, reinforced extruded aluminum components, all safely housed in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag to protect it from the elements. Made from durable, PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas, it is completely waterproof and UVP 50+ rated. The ARB awning comes in three excellent sizes and accommodates mounting points up to 6.9ft (approx. 2.1m) high. (Length refers to the distance extended from the vehicle). It includes pegs and guy ropes to secure the legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and detailed instructions.
