Designed for most vehicles, this self-standing, retractable awning mounts to the side of most roof racks or roof bars, and is conveniently stored for immediate use upon arrival. Specifically designed for harsh wilderness conditions, the awning features anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs, hook-and-loop ties to secure the roof, and thick reinforced aluminum extrusions, all protected in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag. It is made from rugged, PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton ripstop canvas, which is waterproof and boasts a UVP 50+ rating. The ARB awning comes in three excellent sizes and accommodates mounting points up to 6.9 feet (approx. 2.1m) in height (length refers to the distance from the vehicle). Included are pegs and guy ropes to secure the legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and detailed instructions.
