AMS Performance Alpha Cowl Splash Shield for 2009-2021 Nissan GT-R
While working on numerous GT-Rs, AMS discovered issues with moisture and standing water in the footwells of many owners' vehicles. Tracing the cause, we found that water was entering the cabin through the grommet (waterproof seal) of the main engine wiring harness, which is hidden inside the cowl vent beneath the front windshield. When water from heavy rain or car washes hits this grommet, it seeps into the interior. This not only leads to corrosion and mold, but also poses a risk of failure for the expensive and critical main engine wiring harness and ECU, which can render the GT-R inoperable.
To solve this problem, we developed the Alpha Nissan GT-R Cowl Splash Shield. It effectively blocks water from entering the firewall grommet and main wiring harness, protecting your valuable GT-R from costly damage. It can be bolted on using factory mounting points and remains hidden under the stock cowl, maintaining the vehicle's appearance.
This is an essential item for owners who run gauge wiring or electronic boost controller wires through the bulkhead grommet. Of course, even without additional wiring, this cowl splash shield allows you to easily protect your vehicle from water damage.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping can be automatically calculated by entering your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Our products are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, and off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
