AMS Performance Alpha 4 Bar MAP Sensor for 2009-2021 Nissan GTR
The Alpha MAP sensor is a reliable, bolt-on solution for accurately controlling boost levels above 24psi. Following the success of the market's first Alpha MAF sensor upgrade, which resolved driveability issues in high-output GTRs, we determined that a MAP sensor upgrade was necessary for the R35 GTR. We found that at higher boost levels, R35 GT-R control becomes imprecise, requiring a more robust solution.
The factory MAP sensor can only accurately read up to 24psi, leaving little room for a boost-cut safety function during overboost conditions. Because the factory boost control is pressure-based, it becomes ineffective above 24psi, leading to uncontrolled boost spikes depending on ambient temperature and air density. Furthermore, it is impossible to log or verify boost levels exceeding 24psi with the current equipment.
AMS uses a 4-bar sensor to enable accurate boost control up to 44psi, providing reliable regulation with a seamless installation on the GT-R. This not only regains control over boost but also improves data collection, allowing tuners to create more precise and safer calibrations.
The Alpha MAP sensor comes with the necessary calibration parameters and tuning tips, allowing for a bolt-on installation that eases the burden on the tuner. No wire cutting is required, as the sensor features a factory-style connector that plugs directly into the stock harness. It is compatible with both the factory ECU and all aftermarket engine management systems.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the estimated delivery date. Please note that all items are shipped via air freight; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Our products are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar certifications for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. As all items are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt.
