AEM Cold Air Intake System C.A.S. Mazda MX-5/Miata 2.0L I4 06-09

The AEM 21-640C Performance Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Mazda MX-5 and MX-5 Miata models. Air is directed through a large AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter into the system, providing excellent airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is relocated to the driver-side front bumper to lower intake air temperatures and increase horsepower. The intake tube is made of mandrel-bent aluminum and finished with a durable gunmetal gray powder coat. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor. The conical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,934 km) before needing cleaning, depending on driving conditions. This air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese models without modification.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.

○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents of your package immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged, defective, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us."
