AEM 92-01 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Silver Brute Force Air Intake

The AEM 21-8315DC Brute Force Air Intake System increases horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Jeep Cherokee models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is placed in the space of the factory air box and is protected by a heat shield designed to lower intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tube is mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coat finish. This air intake system is engineered to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the crankcase vent hose. The conical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,900 km) before cleaning is required (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with common tools and comes with an AEM Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emissions standards, while others are 50-state legal. If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please inquire about delivery times in advance. Note that all products are transported by air. We do not use sea freight.

○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not adapted to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of the product. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product. Please understand that for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from your order, we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
