AEM 11-13 Mini Cooper 1.6L Black Cold Air Intake System

The AEM 21-721C Performance Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Mini Cooper S, S Clubman, and John Cooper Works models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for excellent airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is placed in the original air box space and is protected by a replacement air box with a fully open hood scoop to reduce intake temperatures and increase horsepower. The intake tube is made of mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable black powder-coat finish. This air intake system is developed to accommodate the engine's factory emission control devices, including the mass air flow sensor and vacuum line ports. The cylindrical AEM Dryflow air filter is made of oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,900 km) before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while other models are 50-state legal. All product databases are primarily based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please check the compatibility with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.

○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please also note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
