The AEM 21-8217DC Performance Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and torque by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to fit specific Dodge Caliber, Jeep Patriot, and Compass models. Air is directed into the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, providing superior airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is placed in the factory air box space, which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coat finish. This air intake system is developed to accommodate factory engine emissions components, including the IAT sensor and crankcase breather hose. The conical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The air intake system is covered by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost for large items such as body parts. Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic delivery in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt.
