PRL Motorsports engineers have spent extensive time extracting maximum power from the FL5 platform. We are proud to have raised the bar for the FL5 platform's intake system with the introduction of our High Volume Intake System.

Applying the lessons learned from our intake system designed for the Civic Type R FK8, PRL Motorsports has made significant improvements to the structure, materials, and overall design, allowing us to release this intake system with great confidence.
This FL5 Civic Type R High Volume Intake System uses a 6-inch (152mm) air filter and a HDPE (high-density polyethylene) airbox. This airbox utilizes the factory air duct and seals for optimal airflow and heat soak reduction.
The factory rubber inlet pipe connects to the airbox and extends over the core support. The rubber duct seals the gap in the hood, directing air into the airbox via the duct in front of the core support. When testing other aftermarket intakes, we found a loss of approximately 10-20 horsepower due to ingesting engine heat when the hood is closed; we developed a secondary duct to solve this problem.
By maximizing the size of the opening and using a secondary duct to eliminate airflow restrictions into the box, we achieved a 133% increase in airflow compared to the factory intake unit. Each silicone hose features a stepped design, successfully reducing airflow resistance as much as possible.

All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm lead times. Note that all items are transported via air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
Products handled by our company are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for such purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, and off-road use only," and their installation and use are at your own risk.

Please inspect the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging or products may occasionally sustain shipping damage. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt.
