Overview
PRL's latest Tube & Fin Intercooler is a perfect fit for the FL5 Type R platform. Combining high cooling efficiency with a lightweight design, this intercooler is ideal for users seeking stable intake temperatures during continuous laps or high-speed driving.
The thin-walled oval tube and fin structure maximizes surface area for air contact while remaining lightweight. Outperforming traditional bar and plate cores, it dissipates heat quickly and efficiently during high-speed operation. Its superior heat dissipation and low thermal mass also improve throttle response and provide excellent heat soak resistance.
Black Thermal Dispersant Coating
Featuring a specialized black thermal dispersant coating, this unit achieves heat resistance that surpasses conventional products. It quickly absorbs heat from high-temperature areas and disperses it uniformly across the core. The wide surface area delivers incredible cooling effects.
It maintains cooling performance even during rigorous continuous driving, allowing for immediate attacks on the track. Beyond heat resistance, it also features significantly enhanced corrosion resistance and surface protection.
