Overview
Over the years, PRL Motorsports has heard countless complaints from FL Civic owners regarding engine mounts. The common sentiment is, "Ever since I installed aftermarket engine mounts, engine vibration has been transferring into the cabin." So, PRL developed the proper solution.
This rear engine mount utilizes two press-fit 60A EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, 60 durometer) bushings. Unlike most aftermarket mounts on the market, we utilize these high-durometer rubber bushings. By gathering real-world data and feedback from various vehicles and drivers, we have meticulously refined both the mount design and the bushing durometer.
At the core of the mount is an I-beam bracket. The I-beam is a shape also utilized in piston connecting rods due to its resistance to bending, stress, and vibration.
The rigid, CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum engine mount is fitted with press-fit bushings, while the EPDM material absorbs engine and chassis vibrations. The outer shells of the bushings and the central inserts are zinc-coated for increased corrosion resistance.
Why use EPDM bushings?
EPDM is a fantastic material with high durability against external atmospheric elements (heat, ozone, weather), chemicals, solvents, and vibration. It is denser than urethane, and while it improves rigidity compared to factory mounts, it also provides enough flexibility to minimize engine vibration.
Unlike urethane bushings, EPDM bushings will not degrade or fall apart. There is a reason why this type of bushing is used in OEM factory components.

At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American market vehicles (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese market vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to non-compatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model via the tabs on our home page, this does not necessarily guarantee a direct fit for Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potential ambiguities in phrasing, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare instances where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect your items immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect orders. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other third-party companies or agencies located in Japan.
