Overview
Modern turbocharged engines recirculate crankcase blow-by gases into the intake system via the factory PCV system. While effective for emissions control, these gases contain oil vapors, fuel, and moisture, which accumulate within the intake manifold over time.
This leads to carbon buildup on the intake valves, which can lower the effective octane rating of the fuel and increase the risk of abnormal combustion (knocking).
The PRL Helix Air Oil Separator removes these impurities before they are returned to the intake, keeping your intake system clean and supporting stable engine operation while maintaining the factory driving experience.
The core of the PRL AOS (Air Oil Separator) is its proprietary internal helix design, which creates centrifugal separation within the canister. As blow-by gases enter, heavier oil particles, fuel, and moisture are forced against the walls by centrifugal force, where they condense and collect at the bottom. Only purified air is returned to the intake, allowing for precise fuel control while maintaining a closed-loop system.
Maintenance is performed by draining the collected contents, with the frequency depending on driving conditions and usage environment.
The PRL Helix AOS is designed and manufactured in-house, featuring a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum body with a hard-anodized finish. Available in black or silver.
Includes a laser-cut and CNC-bent 304 stainless steel mounting bracket. Also set with billet aluminum line clamps (black anodized) to prevent hose rubbing or rattling. High-quality components such as durable, chemical-resistant reinforced rubber hoses, billet fittings, check valves, and Viton O-rings are used to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance with a factory-like fitment.

Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM). Please verify whether the product is compatible with Japanese specification vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if the listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If an order is placed without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that the product will fit Japanese-model vehicles without modification.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping can be automatically calculated by entering your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. ○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation reports or similar documentation for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation/use is at your own risk.

Please check the contents of your package immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defective goods, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt.
