PRL Motorsports oiled filters utilize a dual-layer woven cotton with deep, high-density pleats to increase filtration surface area by 10-15%, promoting more air into the combustion chamber while maintaining superior filtration. This specially engineered cotton filter captures particles as small as 5 microns. Each filter is encased in stainless steel mesh, providing strength that is resistant to denting and proven to allow PRL Motorsports air filters to withstand the most extreme conditions.
Each filter is manufactured using a 4-stage low-pressure injection molding process that bonds the rubber base to the internal components. This process virtually eliminates rubber leaching, maximizing airflow and aesthetics, unlike other manufacturing methods that can block airflow by up to 25%. Our flexible rubber base ensures a consistent airtight seal, absorbs vibration, and withstands millions of thermal cycles.
The specially engineered lightweight filter lubricant is designed to be sensor-friendly and creates a positive (+) magnetic charge—an ionic bond—with the filter's stainless steel mesh. This positive charge prevents negatively (-) charged dust particles from entering the filter, causing them to adhere to the stainless steel mesh. This keeps the cotton clean and allows for maximum airflow.

〇Confirmation of Compatibility
Since our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the item can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese models without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. For shipping cost estimates, the amount will be calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping amount and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
