Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 (D/C) LED Headlight Kit—designed specifically for Husqvarna FE and 701 Enduro/Supermoto models. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 delivers 5,224 proven lumens to a wider range of motorcycles. Engineered for off-road bikes equipped with lower-output OEM stators, it draws only 43.5W, allowing for a powerful upgrade without significant power consumption.
Paired with the signature XL trail lens, the XL40 achieves a vertical and horizontal light pattern with superior near-field and peripheral visibility. The trail lens redistributes the intensity of the center light, eliminating strong hot spots and improving visibility on vertical transitions, steep inclines, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, even field of light that provides confidence on the most challenging terrain.
This is a direct factory replacement that allows for plug-and-play installation.
Note: High/Low functionality requires the KTM/Husqvarna High/Low Harness (12-9016), sold separately. When using the High/Low KTM/Husqvarna relay harness, the high beam indicator will remain illuminated.

At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Fitment
All product databases are primarily based on North American specification (USDM) vehicles. Please verify whether the product can be installed on a Japanese specification (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure if the listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if you order without confirming fitment beforehand.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct, unmodified fit for Japanese-model vehicles.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
All products handled by us are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection" (Shaken) standards, and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
