At Shaftoya, we cover the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether parts can be installed on Japanese domestic market (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
We cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if you place an order without confirming compatibility first.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model in the tabs on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct fit on Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potential discrepancies in terminology, please contact us with any questions before placing your order.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time for delivery. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to verify delivery times beforehand. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Products handled by our company are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with Japanese "Shaken" (vehicle inspection) regulations, and we cannot provide structural strength documentation for the purpose of meeting these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally, there may be cases of shipping damage to packaging or the product itself. We will only accept returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that all warranty support for products sold through us must be handled "directly through us." We do not provide support via other companies or agents located within Japan.
