〇 Regarding Import Duties and Taxes
At Shaft-ya, we cover the import duties and taxes incurred upon arrival, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles; please verify compatibility with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Please note that even if products are filtered by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee a bolt-on fit for Japanese domestic models.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. Due to potential ambiguities in translation, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check delivery times beforehand. All items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)" regulations, and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for "track, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents of your package immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging or products may occasionally sustain damage during transit. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that we only provide warranty support for products sold through our company. We cannot provide support for products through other companies or distributors based in Japan.
