Subaru Impreza Short Shifter Adapter (by Perrin Performance)
The easy-to-install shifter adapter ensures solid and positive shifts. This should be the first part you install on your car to improve your driving experience. The PERRIN shifter allows you to reduce the shifter throw by 0% to 50%, shortening the distance you need to move the shifter lever to enter the next gear. Simply loosen the set screw, adjust the adapter, and tighten the set screw back up. It is very easy.
The PERRIN shifter adapter is CNC machined from a single piece of 6061T6 aluminum. The shifter is black anodized and includes stainless steel hardware for long-lasting, corrosion-free performance. You will never see rust on a PERRIN shifter adapter. PERRIN bushings virtually eliminate the sloppy feeling during quick gear changes, giving the driver a precise feeling when shifting—especially in the critical 2nd and 3rd gear shifts. PERRIN shifter bushings are rigid polyurethane bushings that easily replace OEM rubber shifter bushings, which can be installed with simple hand tools.
The PERRIN shift adapter is the easiest 5-speed shifter to install with the shortest installation time. Simply add the adapter to your shifter and drive.

All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not they can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may rarely be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Basically, all products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system" (shaken) at all, and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items. Please understand that regarding products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related matters "only through us." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
