PERRIN Replacement Foam Filter
This is a direct replacement for the PERRIN Performance 2002-2007 WRX & STI intake system. It also works with intake systems that accept a 3.125-inch filter.
The PERRIN filter features a unique two-piece design, allowing the user to remove the foam filter element for easy cleaning.
PERRIN foam filters are made from reticulated polyurethane foam, which minimizes air restriction. The filter element is sprayed with a special oil that adheres to the foam, giving the polymer matrix a tacky surface to trap dirt. Foam filters trap dirt rather than blocking it; this minimizes the drop in airflow during filtration, maintaining consistent airflow levels even as other filters become clogged.
The PERRIN intake filter element uses open-cell foam to trap dust and debris. The washable and reusable PERRIN foam filter element will last for the life of the vehicle. The foam filter element provides superior performance with minimal airflow restriction and exceptional dust-trapping capability.

○ Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Verification of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether the product is compatible with Japanese specification vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we carry are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your package immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, packaging boxes and products may sustain shipping damage. We will handle returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
