〇About Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during import, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please check whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before ordering. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model on the tabs of our top page, it does not necessarily mean they are compatible with Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○Regarding Delivery
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated on the checkout page after you enter your shipping address. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount automatically calculated. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are essentially designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility that the packing box or the product itself may sustain shipping damage. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective goods, or items different from what was ordered. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related issues "only through our company." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
