○ Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance on your behalf; therefore, you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Verification of Compatibility
As our product database is primarily based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM), please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us, and our support team will investigate for you.)
If an order is placed without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage tabs, this does not guarantee they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for delivery. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All items are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we carry are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength inspection documents or similar certifications for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order as soon as it arrives. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for damaged goods, defective products, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
