〇 About Import Consumption Tax
At Shafto-ya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
Since all product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the product can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
Please note that we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility if an order is placed without verifying fitment beforehand.
Furthermore, please be aware that even if products are filtered by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model on the tabs of our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese models without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant difference between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of damage to the packaging or the product during transit. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products for damaged items, defective products, or items different from your order if we are notified within 7 days of receipt. Additionally, for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan.
