Cobb Tuning Subaru Rear Shifter Bushing
This shifter bushing upgrade is the perfect addition to a short shifter upgrade. Since a short shifter reduces the throw of the shifter and can lower the height of the shift knob, shift precision becomes even more critical. The Cobb Tuning Rear Shifter Bushing improves shift precision and feel when used in conjunction with a short shifter.
The popular Cobb Tuning Subaru Rear Shifter Bushing is the final piece of the puzzle for eliminating excessive factory shifter compliance. The rear shifter bushing is a direct replacement for the soft rubber bushing at the rear of the shifter assembly. This upgraded bushing reduces the side-to-side and front-to-back compliance (slop) found in the stock shifter mechanism caused by the soft rubber bushing, significantly improving shifter feel. This bushing is made of 85A durometer urethane and includes everything needed for easy installation with simple hand tools. Works with both 5-speed and 6-speed Subaru manual transmissions.
The Cobb Tuning Rear Shifter Bushing is easy to install because it bolts to the chassis using two bolts that are angled inward. Other solutions that utilize straight holes can make installation difficult and carry the risk of cross-threading the bolts.

Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not these products can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer name, and vehicle model in the tabs on our home page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with sufficient time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
Products we handle are generally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Because all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product. We will only handle returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
