Cobb Tuning Black Upper Intercooler Pipe Hard Kit
As with all intercooler hard pipe kits, the factory rubber hose to the intercooler is replaced with a solid pipe to eliminate distortion under boost. However, the devil is in the details, and that is where the similarities end. The Cobb Tuning EVO X Intercooler Upper Hard Pipe Kit consists of a single-piece pipe made from mandrel-bent aluminum tubing. The result is a weld-free pipe from the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet, eliminating unsightly intermediate silicone hose couplings that could disrupt flow or blow off under boost. The pipe diameter has been increased from the factory 2.375 inches to 2.5 inches (63.5mm), further improving flow. The bypass valve utilizes a proprietary hard pipe from the cold side of the intercooler, maintaining its factory location and orientation. Maintaining this connection from the cold side ensures that cool air is returned to the intake system when the valve is in bypass mode, preventing overheating of the post-turbo air charge. The bypass valve is positioned using a unique Cobb Tuning logo bridge that connects the bypass valve hard pipe to the hot side hard pipe. The Cobb Tuning EVO X Intercooler Upper Hard Pipe Kit is one of the few kits that fits the factory front engine cover as well as the factory airbox (or the optional Cobb Tuning SF intake). This kit comes with high-quality Cobb Tuning silicone hose couplings and heavy-duty T-bolt hose clamps, eliminating the embarrassing hose blow-offs that can occur when pushing your EVO X to its limits.

All products are generally shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. ○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself.
