Brake Line Relocation Kit 1982 - 1991 BMW 3 Series (E30)
The Chase Bays Brake Line Relocation for BMW E30 with OE Master Cylinder (OEMC) is designed for enthusiasts looking to clean up their engine bay by relocating the brake lines in a practical way and improve braking performance. It compensates for the factory pre-proportioning valve/block with adjustable bias valve, ABS removal, or an alternative master cylinder setup.
This kit retains all lines within the engine bay and mounts the adjustable bias valve to the master cylinder bolts. The lines are designed to be routed in the most optimal path possible. You can choose to route them low on the firewall, behind the steering column, or under the frame rails. Additionally, they are kept at a safe distance from high heat and moving objects. The line from left to right can be installed low on the firewall, just above the transmission, or along the rear sway bar.
The brake line relocation replaces all hard lines in the engine bay up to the lines in the fender wells. Lines from the fender wells to the calipers are not included. This kit modifies some of the front-to-rear line connections. The OEM inline proportioning block is eliminated and replaced with an adjustable bias valve. Once removed, the included metric tube nut female to -3AN male adapter screws onto the OEM rear line tube nut. The -3AN line connects directly to this adapter.
