Single Valve Springs by Brian Crower
BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to guarantee accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. All BC camshaft profiles are prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being put into production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked on high-speed measuring gauges with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10 of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for profile error and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
