BC high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, guaranteed to tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno tested to prove horsepower results before being put into mass production. By grinding cores in volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked on a high-speed measurement gauge with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, taking one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01 micron resolution. This model measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection and can measure 200 parts per hour.
