Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released into mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high-speed measuring gauges with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, taking one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01-micron resolution. Capable of measuring camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, this model can measure 200 parts per hour.
