All BC camshaft profiles are prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for mass production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. Every BC cam is checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing data points every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift errors and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
