It is said that to be successful, you must identify a need and meet it. In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel noticed that many of his friends' blown engines were caused by fastener failure. At that time, there were no off-the-shelf studs or bolts that could handle this challenge. So, drawing on his many years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, Holzapfel founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the ensuing years, the company grew from what was literally a backyard garage workshop into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California, with a total floor space of more than 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat-treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

○ Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
○ Verification of Fitment
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please verify whether parts are compatible with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you order without verifying fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Additionally, please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model on our homepage tabs, this does not necessarily guarantee fitment on Japanese-market models without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we only accept returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Regarding products sold through our company, please note that warranty-related support is handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors based in Japan.
