ARB Under Vehicle Protection (UVP) panels are designed to protect critical underbody components including the steering, engine sump, transmission, and transfer case. Laser-cut, press-formed, and folded 3mm steel plate is used for superior strength. Each UVP panel features a folded edge to increase the rigidity of the 3mm plate. The ARB UVP for the Ford Ranger consists of three precision-engineered panels. The front, sump, and transmission panels bolt directly to the chassis and crossmembers, providing continuous underbody protection from the front bar to the transmission. The rear panel of the UVP has been redesigned as a single piece that covers both the transmission and the transfer case. ARB’s UVP is compatible with or without an ARB front bumper. Compatibility with other bar designs has not been confirmed. The ARB recovery point 2840050 is compatible with the ARB UVP for the Ford Ranger.
