Developed and tested extensively in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide both a comfortable ride in the city and superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance offers a wide range of rebound and compression adjustability, allowing for significant changes to ride feel and custom tuning to suit specific conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and all components are made from 6061 T6 aluminum with a 40-micron Type 3 hard-anodized finish, ensuring excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Design, development, and testing were handled entirely by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, and all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB.
