Developed and tested extensively in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide both a comfortable ride on city streets and end-zone damping for exceptional vehicle control and handling off-road. Damping performance can be easily adjusted across a wide range of rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in ride quality and custom tuning to suit specific conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized coating, offering superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested entirely by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB.
