Developed and rigorously tested in the harsh conditions of Australia, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers feature remote reservoirs and are designed to be bolt-on with no vehicle modifications required, offering both a comfortable ride on city streets and powerful damping at end-stroke for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is easily adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes to the vehicle's ride and custom tuning to suit specific conditions or vehicle setups. The bodies, reservoirs, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3, 40-micron hard-anodized coating for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB.
