The BASE Rack mount kit for the Toyota FJ Cruiser was developed based on the proven mounting methods cultivated by ARB's classic style roof racks. The BASE Rack-specific blade brackets are compatible with 45x49 inch (approx. 1143x1245mm) (P/N 1770060) and 45x51 inch (approx. 1143x1295mm) (P/N 1770070) BASE Racks. By incorporating a dovetail extrusion profile into every edge of the perimeter and internal beams, the BASE Rack offers endless mounting and attachment options. The dovetail system allows for quick and easy addition, removal, and repositioning of accessories and roof loads, enabling individual items to be attached or removed without disturbing the full load. Furthermore, unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack's dovetail extrusion profile does not accumulate dust or debris. Each BASE Rack accessory or piece of equipment attaches to the rack with a simple clamp mount, supporting everything from Hi-Lift(TM) jack mounts, rollers, and recovery boards to larger hardware like the BASE Rack custom light bar.
