The Ultra Series LCAs are based on the same technology the company has used on its own race cars for over a decade and are a must-have for enthusiasts looking to fine-tune their suspension to maximize handling performance while keeping a budget in mind. Skunk2's rear lower control arms are a direct replacement, maintain OEM suspension geometry, and are ideal for street and race applications. Each arm is forged from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and CNC-machined for a precision fit and finish. While previous Skunk2 LCAs were 25 percent lighter than OEM, the Ultra LCAs are 19 percent lighter than the previous Skunk2 LCAs. This makes the Ultra LCAs essentially 44 percent lighter than OEM arms and 27 percent stronger than previous versions.Skunk2's Ultra LCAs feature heavy-duty steel spherical bearings on the trailing arm side to maintain precise suspension geometry in aggressive driving situations. For the subframe side, tuned durometer elastomer bushings were chosen to reduce harshness. Delrin shock bushings are utilized for minimal deflection and low friction to provide dynamic shock control. The Ultra LCA's elastomer subframe bushings are interchangeable with spherical bearings for race-level handling. The subframe side is already machined with a groove for the convenient addition of spherical bearings. Spherical bearing options are not included but can be purchased separately. A properly engineered suspension component must first have strength and functionality, and second, aesthetic appeal. Skunk2's rear lower control arms have both. ○Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan.
