Primitive Skid Plate - Modification Requirements

*Note: Currently, orders for Baja Designs lights (light packages and light conversions) may take 3–4 weeks for delivery. If you order a light package, the lights may be shipped separately from the Rally Light Bar, Ultimate Light Bar, skid guard, or light plate when they become available in stock. Once the Baja Designs stock is secured, the lights will be shipped with your Rally Light Bar, Ultimate Light Bar, skid guard, or light plate order. Delivery time is typically 1–2 weeks depending on stock availability. During this period, all lighting orders are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Please refrain from ordering lighting if you cannot wait. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.*

Before Ordering

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.

〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not these products can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our home page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate for shipping costs will be calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.

In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please place your order with plenty of time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check lead times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.

○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the purposes of Japanese vehicle inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on circuits, private property, or off-road, and installation and use are at your own risk.

○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or products. We will only handle returns, refunds, or replacements for shipping-damaged, defective, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, we will provide warranty support "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
