PRL Motorsports oiled filters utilize dual-layer woven cotton with deep, high-density pleats to increase filtration surface area by 10-15%, promoting more airflow to the combustion chamber while maintaining excellent filtration performance. This specially designed cotton filter captures particles as small as 5 microns. Each filter is encased in a stainless steel mesh, which is resistant to dents and provides the strength that has proven PRL Motorsports air filters can withstand the harshest conditions.
Each filter is manufactured using a 4-stage low-pressure injection molding process that bonds the rubber base to internal components. This process virtually eliminates rubber leaching, maximizing airflow and aesthetics, unlike other manufacturing methods that can block airflow by up to 25%. Our flexible rubber base ensures a consistent airtight seal, absorbs vibration, and withstands millions of thermal cycles.
The specially engineered lightweight filter lubricant is designed to be vehicle sensor-friendly and generates a positive (+) magnetic charge—an ionic bond—with the filter's stainless steel mesh. This positive charge prevents negatively (-) charged dust particles from penetrating the filter, causing them to cling to the stainless steel mesh. This keeps the cotton clear and maximizes airflow.

At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we pay the import taxes incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if a product is sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean it will fit a Japanese model vehicle without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. There may be confusing expressions, so please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for delivery. If you are in a hurry, please inquire about delivery times in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, or off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be delivery damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with delivery damage, defective items, or products different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
