Due to its size and location, the factory top-mount intercooler can easily become overloaded and overheat. This leads to increased intake temperatures and a loss of power. Replacing the factory intercooler with a Cobb Tuning front-mount intercooler ensures that your engine receives the coldest air possible, resulting in more power.
This is a core-only option for users who want to improve the cooling capacity of their 2004-2007 WRX or STI in situations where piping is already present or custom routing is required.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. All products are transported via air freight; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-public roads," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product. For products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered, we will provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, we provide warranty support "only through our company." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
