In the early 1970s, racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel realized that many of his friends' blown engines were caused by fastener failure. At the time, there were no commercial studs or bolts available that could handle this challenge. So, utilizing his years of experience manufacturing fasteners for a major aerospace subcontractor, Mr. Holzapfel founded ARP (Automotive Racing Products). In the years since, the company has grown from what was literally a backyard garage operation into a highly diversified manufacturer with seven entities in Southern California, totaling over 200,000 square feet. These include forging, heat treating, machining, quality control finishing, and packaging/warehousing facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California.

At Shaft-Ya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM). Please verify whether parts can be installed on Japanese specification vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and model from the tabs on our home page, this does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese market vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may rarely differ significantly from the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) system," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private property, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for shipping-damaged goods, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan.
