BP-51 (51mm bore bypass) shock absorbers feature innovative, patent-pending technology developed to deliver unparalleled performance both on and off-road. Thoroughly tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore bypass shock absorbers feature remote reservoirs and can be installed without vehicle modifications. They provide a comfortable ride in the city while delivering superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes to ride quality and custom tuning tailored to specific conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and components are all crafted from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a 40-micron hard-anodized Type 3 coating, providing excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB. To ensure the highest quality, significant investment has been made in state-of-the-art machinery, achieving complete control over the manufacturing process.
