The Wisefab Mazda RX8 lock kit features relocated steering racks for improved performance. We have created a custom 7075 aluminum billet U-joint to connect the Mazda steering column to the BMW rack. This lock kit includes adjustable Ackermann with custom washers and corrected kinematics. All OEM bushings have been replaced with spherical bearings to achieve better and more precise handling.

Fits Mazda RX8 and MX5 NC (2005-2015)
This kit comes with parts to attach BMW E36 or E46 racks to the subframe. The knuckles have two mounting positions for tie rods: the original rack position and a lowered position. For the lower position, we also include some adjustment capabilities in case someone has already lowered the rack and it does not match the designed height. -
65-degree lock, parallel steering
You can adjust the steering geometry to positive or negative Ackermann in just a few minutes, even trackside, without disturbing the alignment. Ackermann adjustment kit is included. - Adjustable lock stoppers

Higher Roll Center (RC)
With Wisefab knuckles, both joints are dropped, which increases the front RC when the car is lowered, providing higher roll stiffness, better camber control, and minimal bump steer. Our kinematics ensure that the camber provides excellent front grip and that bump steer is minimized throughout the steering range. -
Steering jacking control
When drifting, jacking increases at large steering angles, which can be an issue even with the same geometry. We have modified the geometry in a way that avoids operational issues. -
Consistent and predictable self-aligning torque
Caster is not the only key parameter for providing enough self-aligning torque, especially at high lock. It is a combination of various parameters to maintain consistent trail and self-aligning torque. With this setup, the steering wheel will always rotate in the direction of travel and will not get stuck at full lock.

Additional information:
- This kit assumes coilovers with sufficient clearance
- Ride height is designed to be a maximum of 80 mm when measured from the subframe to the ground
- Depending on rim width and ET, fenders or flares may need to be widened
- For tire diameters up to 635 mm (e.g., 215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18), there is no need to modify the inner wheel wells
- Minimum rim size is 17 inches
- Recommended backspace is ~135 mm (7" ET45, 8" ET35, 9" ET20). If ET is smaller, the wheel will sit further out; if ET is larger, spacers must be used
- Original wheel speed sensors (ABS sensors) can be used
- Original sway bar can be used on the front

○ Regarding shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated on the checkout page after you enter your shipping address. For large items such as body parts, there may rarely be a significant discrepancy between the amount automatically calculated and the actual shipping cost. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with plenty of time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery dates. Note that all products are transported by air. They will not be shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection compliance
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private land, or off-road," and please be aware that installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will provide returns, refunds, or replacement products only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding products with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, we will handle all warranty-related matters "exclusively through us." Please be aware that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
