Each camshaft is manufactured from forged tool steel cores, which provides increased torsional strength, improved durability characteristics, and reduced friction. Every Skunk2 camshaft is ground to precise specifications using state-of-the-art CNC camshaft grinding machines featuring cubic boron grinding wheels, and features hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces.
Skunk2’s Tuner Series camshafts also feature Fast Ramp and AMAX profile technology, which improves overall performance and provides unparalleled response from idle to redline. AMAX technology simply maximizes the area under the lift curve without compromising reliability or valvetrain stability. Skunk2 profiles have a longer duration than the competition at lifts over 1mm, resulting in increased efficiency and power. Also, thanks to Fast Ramp—the same technology used in F1 racing—seat timing is reduced, resulting in increased cylinder pressure and torque without compromising valvetrain longevity.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm delivery dates in advance. All products are shipped via air freight; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not conform to the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will only be handled "through us." We do not provide support through other companies or agencies located within Japan.
